In addition to being called Beervana for the sheer number of breweries in the region, Portland also hosts a number of ecletic coffee shops ranging from strong local micro-roasting operations to places that serve chain coffee but have great atmosphere.

Generally, last call is at 2am. Smoking is not permitted at most restaurants, but is permitted in many breweries and taverns.
