Legal Hygiene - or - how developers can avoid spending time in lawyer's offices…

Being able to comply with the licensing terms that code is released under is key for commercial use and redistribution of code. Code developers as copyright holders are able to specify the licensing terms. Avoiding answering the same questions, over and over again about your code when compliance teams at different companies review it, makes it important to get the licensing to reflect your intentions clearly. This track will explore some of the emerging best practices to permit open source code to be easy to include and redistribute.
